SMS Terms
The terms for appointment text messages that dental practices send to their patients through Dentelo.
Last updated 09/22/2026
1.The program
Dental practices use Dentelo to text their own patients about their care: appointment confirmations and reminders, rescheduling, replies to messages a patient sends the practice, and a follow-up when the practice misses a patient's call. Each message names the practice it comes from.
These are not marketing messages. We do not send promotions, and we do not send messages on behalf of anyone other than the practice you signed up with.
2.How you sign up
You receive texts only after you agree to them: by ticking the box on your practice's sign-up page at dentelo.ai/sms/<practice>, by saying yes when the practice asks on a call, or on the practice's intake form. Agreeing is never a condition of receiving care.
3.How often, and what it costs
Message frequency varies with your appointments — typically a few messages around each visit, and replies when you write to the practice.
Message and data rates may apply, according to your mobile plan. Neither Dentelo nor the practice charges you for these messages.
4.Stopping, and getting help
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts from that practice. You will get one message confirming it, and no more after that. Reply START to sign up again.
Reply HELP for help, and you will receive the practice's contact details. You can also contact the practice directly, or email support@dentelo.ai.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
5.Privacy
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. How we handle personal information is described in our Privacy Policy at /legal/privacy.
6.Who we are
Dentelo is a product of Kasthaa LLC, which operates the messaging service on behalf of the practices that use it.
